Global Crown Capital utilizes a proprietary trading program developed in 1978 by David Patterson, GCC's Chief Technical Strategist. This trading strategy has been recognized by clients worldwide as a leading-edge, momentum trading system that has stood the test of time. A key focus of the system is predicting the quarterly direction and management of trades with mechanical patterns using charts and risk management tools.
A key facet of this system is identifying a trending signal that market equities and commodities will be driven by human emotions. This mechanical approach is unique because it focuses on core positions and creates targets to capture profits. Trending markets are viewed as abnormal and congestion markets as normal. The strategy focuses on trading with the trending patterns.

Mr. Patterson has had a global consulting service since 1978 and is recognized internationally for having developed highly customized technical trading strategies and programs, which have been successfully implemented in various financial markets (e.g., commodity and equity markets). The world's largest petrochemical companies, including Shell, BP, ChevronTexaco and ConocoPhillips, are examples of Mr. Patterson's clients. He has developed a sophisticated, proprietary software package, and PICS to support his trading advisory services at Global Crown Capital. Mr. Patterson holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
